The city of Springville has officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Buc-ee's for the construction of this massive new gas station and travel store. The facility is planned to be an impressive 74,000-square-foot travel center, a colossal footprint that will house an astounding 120 fueling stations and multiple EV chargers, catering to every type of traveler. This enormous operation is projected to create 200 full-time jobs for the Springville community.

The new Buc-ee's will be strategically located on undeveloped land along Interstate 15, just west of Exit 261. City officials anticipate that the entire project will take approximately just over two years to complete, from groundbreaking to grand opening.

Springville Mayor Matt Packard expressed his enthusiasm for the arrival of the popular travel center. "We are excited to welcome Buc-ee’s to our community, and the great state of Utah," said Mayor Packard. "We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship for both our community and Buc-ee's."

Stan Beard, Buc-ee's Director of Real Estate and Development, highlighted the natural fit for their brand in Springville. "The first store in Utah belongs in Springville," Beard stated. "We are a family travel center, we’re the fun store, and if this isn’t a fun family town, I don’t know what is." His comments underscore Buc-ee's commitment to creating a family-friendly atmosphere that goes beyond typical gas station amenities.

Known for its impeccably clean restrooms, vast selection of snacks (including their famous Beaver Nuggets), expansive merchandise, and array of fresh-made food options, Buc-ee's has garnered a cult following across the South. Its expansion into Utah signifies a growing presence in the western United States, promising to become a major roadside attraction and a convenient stop for travelers along I-15. The arrival of Buc-ee's is expected to draw significant interest and economic activity to Springville, solidifying its place as a key travel hub in Utah.
