Founded in 1895, this is the first contemporary art museum in the United States.  You'll find works of European art and art from the 19th century. The museum also has an impressive collection of artwork from the 20th century, including American art.



It's also home to one of the largest collections of dinosaurs in the world. The Dinosaur Armor exhibit introduces viewers to the evolution of body armor. There is also a fossil digging area, where children as young as ten can use a paintbrush to create their finds.

On the second floor, there is the Heinz Gallery. This space is dedicated to temporary exhibitions. Aside from its impressive artwork gallery, it also has a small store that carries items such as books and accessories.



There are several different parking options. Some of these include street, surface, and underground. Additionally, there is an attached parking garage. Parking is also available for a fee.

As for dining, there is a cafe on site. They offer sandwiches, salads, small plates, and a wine bar. However, visitors should be aware of limitations in terms of food and drink.
