Located in Punxsutawney, Gobbler's Knob is a small wooded park that caters to groundhog fans year-round. On Groundhog Day, it attracts tens of thousands of visitors.  There are two viewing areas, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs.



Gobbler's Knob is primarily meant for students and families. There are concessions available, as well as souvenirs and hot chocolate. However, no lawn chairs are allowed.

You can also purchase tickets for the bus, which runs from Punxsutawney to Gobbler's Knob. A round-trip ticket is $5. Taking the bus is a fun way to see the park and the groundhog.



In addition to the Groundhog Day events, Gobbler's Knob offers a few other things. There is a metal art display, which features works by local trade school students. There is also a trail, which is about half a mile long. You can walk the trail or take a jog. The trail is open to non-motorized vehicles so you can bring along your dog.
