At Mallory Square, you can find an array of street performers, arts and crafts vendors, and food carts.  It's also home to the Mallory Square Festival Market. This market is a vast open-air event and is especially busy during the holidays. There are a variety of vendors here, including key lime pie, tropical drinks, and other arts and crafts.



Mallory Square also hosts a Sunset Celebration,  which takes place each night two hours before sunset. This celebration attracts tourists from around the world.

During the celebration, the crowd will make their way along the footbridge, past the Westin Resort, and then down to the waterfront. The waterfront area is filled with street performers such as Moe and Jeep, a sword swallower, and a high-flying cat. These performers entertain the crowd and help to make the event fun.



Mallory Square has a long history of being the center of activity in Key West. It was the site of many wars and a base for anti-pirate campaigns. In the early 1800s, John James Audubon wrote about the beauty of the Key West sunset.
