LOS ANGELES, CA – The James Beard Foundation® (JBF) is launching its national Taste America® 2025-2026 series, presented by Capital One, with a major kickoff event in Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. This unique walk-around tasting offers an unprecedented opportunity for food enthusiasts to sample bites from the entire newly announced TasteTwenty chef cohort under one roof.
Hosted by Los Angeles's own TasteTwenty representative, Chef Vivian Ku (Pine & Crane and Joy), the event will feature multiple food and beverage stations spotlighting the signature styles and culinary perspectives of all 20 acclaimed chefs chosen for this year's series. These chefs represent the "ones to watch" in the industry, recognized for culinary talent and positive impact.
