CALIFORNIA - Target continues its significant investment in California, announcing plans to open three new, large-format stores across the Golden State in 2025. These openings in Fresno, Jurupa Valley, and Perris are part of the retailer's nationwide strategy to enhance its physical footprint, focusing on larger stores designed to improve the shopping experience and support its popular online fulfillment services.

  1. Fresno (Fancher Creek):
    • Location: 205 S. Clovis Ave., Fresno, CA
    • Size: Approximately 148,000 sq. ft.
    • Status: Currently under construction within the Fancher Creek Town Center development, with an anticipated opening in October 2025. It will anchor this new retail hub alongside other planned tenants like Sprouts and In-N-Out.
  2. Jurupa Valley:
    • Location: 8063 Mission Blvd., Jurupa Valley, CA (at Mission Blvd. & Pyrite St.)
    • Size: Approximately 148,000 sq. ft.
    • Status: Following a groundbreaking ceremony in April 2025, this first Target location for Jurupa Valley is expected to open sometime during 2025 as part of The Shops at Jurupa Valley development.
  3. Perris:
    • Location: 1688 N. Perris Blvd. (Bldg L), Perris, CA
    • Size: Approximately 150,000 sq. ft.
    • Status: Construction commenced following an April 2025 groundbreaking at the Plaza de Perris development. The store is currently targeting a Summer 2025 opening.
