Visiting The Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum NASHVILLE, TN - The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is an educational center dedicated to preserving country music and the heritage of American vernacular music. It is located in downtown Nashville, Tennessee.


Country Music Hall of Fame


The Country Music Hall of Fame is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has existed for more than five decades. In addition to preserving the history of country music, the museum also serves as a cultural hub for the city of Nashville.



Since its founding, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has become one of the world's largest repositories of musical artifacts. More than 2.5 million objects are housed in the facility. This extensive collection of country music memorabilia includes more than 800 stage costumes and more than 600 instruments.

Visitors can expect to experience an immersive and interactive experience at the Museum. It features state-of-the-art galleries, retail stores, and unique event space. There are also a variety of educational programs. These include dance classes, hands-on programs, and interactions with professional musicians and educators.



The building was designed by Nashville-based Tuck-Hinton Architects.  The building's front windows resemble the keys of a piano. On the building's tower, visitors can see a replica of the diamond-shaped WSM radio tower built in 1932.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has been home to numerous exhibitions. It is also the home of RCA Studio B, Nashville's oldest surviving recording studio.
