The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, is the largest art museum in the country.  It's home to more than 63,000 works, from Renaissance paintings to Georgia O'Keeffe's iconic American landscape. It also hosts gallery tours by museum educators.



Houston's Museum District is an excellent place for family fun. You can enjoy free admission to most of the museums in the district. It's also a great place to take a self-guided walking tour.

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, features art from more than 6,000 years of history. It is also home to the most extensive art collection in the nation. It's a great place to check out various art, from early Egyptian art to contemporary paintings. It has galleries that feature works from artists such as Andy Warhol and Georgia O'Keeffe.



The Houston Museum of Natural Science is also worth a visit. It has a planetarium and a 4D theater. In 2012, the museum added a wing dedicated to paleontology. It features an impressive collection of dinosaur fossils and other exhibits.

The Health Museum, next door to the Houston Museum of Natural Science, is a science museum with a lot to offer. It has an interactive exhibit about the human body, a funky photo exhibit, and clinical photo exhibitions. It also has an excellent new wing that excitingly showcases dinosaur fossils.
