Houston is The Cultural Center of Texas

One of the most famous museums in the city is the Houston Museum of Fine Arts.  This institution has a collection of more than 65,000 works of art, including paintings, sculptures, and decorative art. With more than 6,000 years of art history to explore, it's a great place to learn more about the history of art.

Another museum in the city is the Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens. This museum has an extensive collection of American paintings, silverware, and decorative arts. It is a renowned organization that promotes relations between the West and the East. The Texas Center is one of twelve international branches and hosts various educational programs.

Another of the most popular spots in Houston is the Art Car Museum. This is a unique museum that displays a rotating selection of vehicles. Some vehicles are still in working condition, while others are decorated with intricate art. You can also see police cruisers, hippie vans, derby racers, and other unique vehicles.
