Gabriele Bonci is an Italian chef who's made a name for himself in the pizza world.  He's earned praise from the late chef Anthony Bourdain, who's called Bonci "the Michelangelo of pizza." The pizzeria is now opening its first American location in the West Loop. It will also expand to Philadelphia and Boston.

The menu at Bonci's Chicago location features more than just the standard toppings. Customers can choose from classic pizzas and unique combinations, including vegetarian and vegan options.

One of the reasons for the long lines at the Bonci Chicago location is its toppings. Unlike other pizza chains, Bonci doesn't offer repeated pizza varieties. Instead, the toppings change regularly.

Bonci's Chicago restaurant is open on Saturdays at 11 a.m. and Sundays at noon. The slice serves pizza, and customers can pay by credit card or cash. In addition to pizza, the menu also includes craft beer, sandwiches, and salads.
