NASHVILLE - If you're in town for a weekend or a week, the brew scene here is a veritable bonanza.  You can try beers from Yazoo Brewing, Blackstone Brewing, Czann's Brewery, Various Artist's Brewing, and more! If you're a beer lover, you'll appreciate the local brews and the great food options.

Blackstone Brewing

The Nashville area is home to an insane amount of high-quality local brewing options, and Blackstone Brewing Company is one of the city's oldest and most awarded operations. This brewery has been around since 1994, and in 2011, it opened a state-of-the-art brewing facility and taproom. Their beer is top-notch, and they've won several awards for their Coffee Stout, Brown Porter, and more. Visitors will appreciate the brewery's focus on producing quality brews and their staff's dedication to their craft.



The Nashville craft brewing community continues to flourish, with over fifteen breweries in the city. Located throughout the city, most breweries have live music and beer-to-go options. The oldest brewery, Blackstone Brewing Co., is one of the largest, with over 600 varieties of craft beers and an impressive lineup of live music.

Yazoo Brewing

Yazoo Brewing is a local brewery outside of Nashville that offers twice-weekly tours and beer tastings.  Tours are free, and the brewery offers multiple varieties of beer for you to sample. Tours are also a great way to meet other Nashville beer enthusiasts.



The brewery has been in business since 2003. Its sister company, Embrace the Funk, opened in 2012. It began as a side project but has since expanded its presence. It is home to the Funk Fest, a festival held the day before the CBC music festival. Yazoo Brewing is a favorite among locals for its sourdough bread and IPA, which serves excellent food.

Czann's Brewery

Located on the south side of Nashville, Czann's Brewing Company offers a selection of fresh, refreshing beers. There are four year-round beers as well as rotating seasonal varieties. The brewery has a large taproom and a dog-friendly patio, so beer lovers can enjoy their favorite brew in the fresh air. Owner Ken Rebman and his staff are committed to brewing good beer with minimal waste.

Whether you're looking for a beer with a strong history or something a little more unique, Czann's Brewery is a great place to get a taste of local craft brewing. The brewery's taproom is reminiscent of a monastic chapter house, and its seasonal offerings are an excellent way to meet locals and make new friends.

Smith & Lentz Brewing

Smith & Lentz Brewing is a small, independent craft brewery in the East Nashville neighborhood.  The brewery offers a variety of beers as well as a delicious wood-fired pizza. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, and the brews are great for a Saturday night out.



The brewery's location on Main Street has given it a diverse clientele, including families and businessmen. The taproom is cozy, with ping pong tables and board games. The brewery also hosts open-mic comedy and movie screenings.

Tailgate Brewing

Several local breweries are located in Nashville, including Tailgate Brewing Company, which opened in 2014.  Located in downtown Nashville, this brewery produces hoppy IPAs, clean ales, and barrel-aged stouts. The taproom offers growlers for take-out and curbside pickup. It also serves pizza and pub fare, such as hot dogs and burgers.

Nashville's craft brewing scene is thriving. There are several new breweries, many of them run by professionals. These breweries continue to serve the growing thirst of Nashville beer lovers.
