On our visit, we had the pleasure of being served by Jimmy, who was a really great server—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Having staff who go out of their way to ensure you have an awesome dinner elevates the entire waterfront experience.

Maguire's Bayfront Restaurant is way better than you could even think. Between the incredible swordfish and grouper, the excellent cocktails, and the unbeatable sunset views over the Great South Bay, it is a Fire Island institution for a reason. The boat-access-only location makes it feel like a true adventure, and once you are sitting on that bayfront deck, you won't want to leave.
