For 2023, visitors can look forward to a record number of vendors, a new outdoor winter bar, the addition of Christmas cocktails, five new sausages, new vegan options, later evening hours, and a new location for the Christmas Village Tree. Famous German vendor Käthe Wohlfahrt will return with exquisite glass ornaments, nutcrackers, pyramids, and limited-edition holiday decorations. Other highlights will include a large selection of Glühwein (mulled wine), the warm glow of the open-air Bratwurst Grill, an expansive outdoor seating area, the Hofbräu Beer Garden, and appearances by Gingy the Gingerbread Man.

Foodies can rejoice as Christmas Village prepares to surprise taste buds with delightful dishes like Raclette Cheese sandwiches, bacon on a stick, wine tastings, and boozy pudding. Look for expanded brat selections, including spicy Bratwurst and Currywurst, at the “Best of Wurst” booth, plus Vegan Vurst Wednesdays with the first-ever mouthwatering vegan Bratwurst.

For family fun, there are plenty of attractions to bring smiles to kids and adults alike! The charming old-school Christmas Village Carousel brings horses, reindeer, and whimsical lights for trips round and round while the 65-foot-tall illuminated Ferris Wheel offers breathtaking birds-eye views over the busy holiday festivities. Cocktail lovers can experience a new level of “Wunder” (wonder) at Winter Wunder Bar, featuring alpine ski hut vibes and signature holiday cocktails and frozen slushies.

“This time of year on the Baltimore Waterfront is truly magical," said Nancy Schmalz Project Manager at Christmas Village. "We are honored to be part of such a great community and are grateful for your continued support over these past ten years."
