The restaurant has a wall dedicated to its many accolades over the years, including being featured for a segment on the Travel Channel's popular TV show “Burger Land” and other shoutouts. The top three burgers on the menu include the Squealer, which comes with bacon blended into the patty; the #99, which mixes cheese and onions into a patty marinated in white wine; and the Tookie’s Bean Burger, which is topped with refried beans, Fritos, picante sauce and cheese.
Except for a relocation in 2018 from its original spot in Seabrook to its current location at 406 Texas Avenue, Kemah, to make way for the Hwy. 146 expansion project, not much else has changed since 1975 - including most of the restaurant’s décor and memorabilia.
