The new Black Bear Diner diner can be found in San Antonio, off exit 581 of Interstate 10, at 1112 Ackerman Road. This converted Petro Stopping Center diner can seat 148 people and covers 6,151 square feet. Black Bear Diner's new design enhancements are evident in the new restaurant. They focus on building modifications that expedite off-premises business while maintaining the in-diner guest experience.
 
Black Bear Diner anticipates opening approximately 15 new restaurants in its network-wide footprint by 2023. Travel Centers of America's next Black Bear Diner will open in Tonopah, Arizona, and it is expected to open mid-summer.
