What To See and Do in Central Florida

CENTRAL FLORIDA - Central Florida's largest cities are Kissimmee, Sanford, Orlando, and Daytona Beach. The most prevalent is the Orlando and Kissimmee area. In fact, it happens to be the most visited destination in Florida.


What To See and Do in Central Florida

 

The main reason is Walt Disney World, including The Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios, Typhoon Lagoo,n Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and River Country. And, of course, downtown Disney has loads of shopping, animated dining, and great nightlife, including Pleasure Island.



Outside of Disney's gates, you'll find International Drive as well as some great shopping locations. Including loads of outlet and retail stores, hotels, and dinner shows, in fact, you can have an entire vacation on this one street alone!

While you're here, don't miss Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. Both amusement parks bring the magic of special effects and movies to life.



Suppose theme parks aren’t your thing. How about spending some time in, Downtown Orlando and Winter Park both excellent places to see live entertainment, go antique shopping, enjoy the nightlife, and upscale dining. Universal Studios is also home to Halloween Horror Nights, which brings the magic of Halloween each fall season to life.

Just an hour's drive away, visit one of Florida's prize attractions: The Kennedy Space Center. View NASA space shuttles and see how space travel has evolved over the past decades.

Also located one hour northeast of Orlando is Daytona Beach. Famous during the summer months and has a great boardwalk area to stroll along and enjoy the ocean views. Daytona Beach also hosts a bike week each year. Where visitors from all over the country come to drive their motorcycles up and down the strip.

Central Florida, over the years, has continued to change. However, it is still one of the best vacation destinations on the East Coast. While many come here for play, millions also call it home. In fact, central Florida is a vast metropolitan area with a world-class airport, financial districts, and a vibrant hospitality industry.



You could live the magic year-round! It takes a lot of great people to make each magical vacation happen here. So don't overlook this city as an exceptional place to live either.
